I reached a milestone. I woke up in the middle of the night to a loud wind/rain storm. A few days ago I decided to buy some plants for my front walkway. I hadn't had a chance to plant all of them and many of them were sitting out there in their pots. As I listened to the wind and rain all I could think about were my poor plants out there in the elements. Were they ok? Did the wind blow them away? Think of all the money I just spent at the nursery! As hard as I tried, I couldn't get myself to fall back asleep. I submitted. Putting on a sweater and some shoes, I went out in the rain and found my plants strewn across the yard. As any good caretaker would, I gave them a safe home nestled in a corner under an eve of my house. If that's not nurturing, I don't know what is.
You are soooo sweet! Imagine, taking such good care of the little darlings! I'm sure they are very happy...and alive...thanks to you. And then you slept like a baby, right?
ReplyDeleteLook at you you little nurturer you...I'd feel safe leaving my plants with you, and I don't leave my plants with just anyone. :) this is a big milestone.
