Dear Gracie, You are a little rascal at church. You love exploring so much that we're never quite sure if we should take you to class with us or just wander the halls and let you crawl. Today your dad was teaching in Elder's Quorum and I really wanted to go to Relief Society. Luckily, you had just woken up from your nap, so I knew you should be in good spirits. One of your favorite activities is pulling everything out of your diaper bag. You do it over and over again, throwing things over your shoulder as you rifle through diapers, wipes, zip-lock bags full of crackers, etc. Your mark was spread wide in that relief society room, but hopefully people didn't mind. You kept crawling over to other mommies who were holding their babies. You liked their toys better than yours and you were wondering why they were wearing shoes. You kept reaching up to them and trying to pull of their shoes. We think you were trying to show them how much better your feet feel without the contraints of shoes and socks (you hate shoes and socks). We ended the meeting by singing a hymn. We were in the front row, right in front of Sister Allington who was directing the music. You were pretty sure her arm moving around up there was a wave to you. You just stared back at her for the whole song, waving your arm, telling her "hi". It was really cute. You love to wave at people. Whenever you see a new face paying attention to you, you lift up your little hand to greet them with a wave. You light up their faces with your interaction with them. We love you.
