Christmas Highlights

This year my family spent a week in a large rented cabin in a little slice of heaven we like to call central Oregon. We've found this to be a great vacation spot as many of the family members are able to drive while the rest of us are happy to fly to join the party. The little boys were at such a fun age this year. I couldn't help but be reminded of the counsel we have to be like little children, full of hope and charity. These little dudes are loud and rowdy, but their pure, untainted motivation to love sure is refreshing. I really love them. I'm glad we were able to find a magic portal to the North Pole, my mom wrote about it on her blog. We made gingerbread houses, Christmas cookies, had a baby shower, went ice skating, sledding, on daily walks, you get the drill. A week of heaven.

  1. Heather,

Loved your cute photos of the week in Sunriver. Especially the "stink eye" shots. Thanks for recording the good times so well for us.

  2. I just love that Scarlett is glaring in all the solo shots of her. Oh, except the PRECIOUS one of her praying. So much fun!
