With little girl Larsen on the way, Jason and I have been motivated to organize/finish/decorate our extra rooms, especially the little soon to be nursery. Part of this project has been to find and refinish a cute dresser to use as storage/changing table.
It started with inspiration from blogs of people who are far more talented than me. Regardless of knowing it was a big project to take on and not having done it before, I thought it would be fun. Not to mention an affordable option to furniture.
I found this rad piece at an estate sale. Actually the first estate sale I'd ever gone to. The people kept telling me how "solid" this piece was. All wood, tongue and groove, etc. I was sold. So, our garage became its new home.
After much trial and error including 3 different paint colors, Jason and I finished it last night. I think it turned out pretty cute! One thing checked off the list. Now we have time to think about the next projects :)
Here are some pics of the journey.
